friendly with underfloor heating running off an air source
heat pump. We are developing our grounds to be bird/wildlife
friendly and the Barn has a bird list of 60 including nesting

Set in the beautiful landscape of Braunton Burrows Nature Reserve, with 5 miles of golden sands nearby, our site offers a tastefully furnished cluster of attractive well equipped, comfortable cottages and an indoor heated swimming pool. The cottages are set amongst 12 acres of pastureland with a lake.
To the south of us is the ancient Port of Velator and Crow Point, where the rivers Taw and Torridge meet the sea, a favourite migration/"overwintering" site for many birds.
The RSPB's Isley Marsh reserve is also found along the Taw estuary at Fremington.
There is also an RSPB reserve at Chapel Wood (15mins ) offering a great woodland setting for birdwatching. |
