ElmleyThe only place in the UK you can stay in the middle of a Nature Reserve. This very special accommodation allows you access to private dawn and dusk birding on the renowned Elmley National Nature Reserve, along with stunning sunrises from a very comfortable bed.

The three ‘shepherds huts’ overlook ponds occupied by avocets and winter wildfowl and have an excellent view of oaks trees with resident barn owls.

The handcrafted huts have ensuite bathrooms and are warm and cosy in winter when tens of thousands of winter wildfowl and wading birds visit Elmley, along with marsh harriers, peregrines, merlins and short-eared owls! There are cooking facilities and an honesty bar or order home-cooked meals made with local produce.

Private tours of the Reserve can be booked.
