Osprey Cottage'Osprey Cottage' is situated by the shores of the Cromarty Firth, this spacious detached property, adjacent to owners' home, has been renovated and furnished to a high standard. It is just a few meters from the shoreline which makes it the ideal place for bird watching especially as there is a small bird 'hide' available for guests to use with beach access. The many tourist attractions in the area are all within a short drive. Beaches, distilleries, golf courses, castles and RSPB reserves.

The local area is rich in both bird and animal life - the Cromarty Firth is a haven for migrating wildfowl and waders in the spring and autumn and there are also bottle-nose dolphins. They can also be viewed from Chanonry Point on the Black Isle.

.In addition to the small bird hide at the bottom of the garden, the RSPB also have bird hides located at Nigg and Udal bays which are close by as you can see from their website.
